My name is Szabolcs [Szabi – the letter ‘z’ is not pronunciated separately] and I welcome You to my website!

I started studying psychology in 2011 and started practicing in 2014. My therapeutic experience includes working with adults and teenagers/adolescents with a wide variety of difficulties, such as:

  • anxiety
  • depression
  • loss or bereavement
  • difficulties with emotional expression
  • break up and its difficulties
  • loneliness

  • living abroad and its challenges
  • living away from home
  • anger-management difficulties
  • different forms of abuse
  • sleeping difficulties
  • suicidal thoughts
  • self-harming behaviour.

Please note, this list is not exhaustive and I am open to listen to what is challenging in your life to work together towards achieving a positive change.

My therapeutic services

Face-to-face

The most prevalent form of therapy. Please note, I offer this mode of therapy in medical centres, in multiple locations. To find out more, click the button below.

Face-to-face sessions

Videoconference

Online therapy has different forms, for example videoconferencing through a secure, encrypted software, such as Microsoft Teams. You will need a suitable device (with accessories if necessary, such as a headset), internet connection, and a place where you can talk freely. To find out more about online sessions, click the button below.

Online sessions

Telephone

There has always been a demand for therapy over the telephone due to its convenience. Research suggests that therapy online and over the telephone can both be as effective as therapy conducted face-to-face (it does not mean that one form is better than the other).

Email

It is a relatively new type of online therapy. It is convenient as you can set the pace for the course of therapy. One of the reasons for its popularity is that the Client has 24/7 to send the ‘material’ for the next session.
